The Buldak line is built on one base — a stir-fried hot chicken flavour — with variations that either raise the heat (2X, 3X, volcano, extremely spicy) or round it off with dairy, fermentation or sweetness (carbonara, cheese, kimchi, corn, rose). Format is the other axis: packets to cook, cups and bowls to pour water into, bottles to pour over something else.

Choosing a mix
Flavours can be mixed freely across categories to reach the minimum order. A common first container anchors on the original hot chicken flavour and carbonara — the classic and the approachable one — then adds one heat line such as 2X Spicy and one distinctly Korean line such as kimchi or jjajang. - Which Samyang Buldak flavour is the hottest?
- In the packet range, Buldak 3X Spicy is the hottest, above 2X Spicy and the original hot chicken flavour. Among the sauces, Buldak Hot Sauce Extremely Spicy sits at the top.
- Which Samyang Buldak flavour is the mildest?
- Carbonara, cream carbonara, cheese and quattro cheese are the mildest, because dairy rounds off the chilli. The corn flavour reads sweet rather than hot. Among the sauces, the carbonara bottle is the mildest.
- What is the difference between the packet, cup and bowl formats?
- Packets contain several individually wrapped portions and need a pan and draining, and give the lowest cost per portion. Cups and bowls are single ready-to-eat portions prepared with hot water alone, and go straight to shelf without repacking. Bowls carry a larger portion than cups.
- What is jjajang?
- Jjajang is a dark Korean black-bean sauce style. In the Buldak range it is combined with the hot chicken flavour, giving a savoury, slightly sweet noodle rather than a purely fiery one.
- Can flavours be mixed in one wholesale order?
- Yes. The 200-carton minimum applies to the order as a whole, not per flavour or per category, so a single container can combine packets, cups, bowls and sauces in whatever proportion suits your customers.
